About royalty distribution to members
- complaints

I want to COMPLAIN about the royalties I just received from NCB. What do I do?
If you are a resident of Estonia, Iceland, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway or Sweden, please contact your local NCB office.

If you are a resident of Denmark - or are a so-called "direct NCB member" - you can send an e-mail to NCB's Member Services. In you mail please indicate the following about the production in question:

- Name (and address, if available) of the producer of the recording.
- Recording title of the production.
- Information on artist, catalogue number, release date and where it was released.
- Title of the tracks related to your complaint.

Once NCB's Member Services have received your complaint we shall send you a receipt to acknowledge your complaint. Whenever possible we handle complaints in order of date of receipt. Depending on the complexity of the case we endeavour to settle the matter in time for our next bi-annual distribution. No matter what, you will always receive a written reply from NCB to your complaint.
My music was released a few years ago but I never got any royalties. What is the TIME ALLOWED FOR COMPLAINTS?
Please inform us as soon as possible if you miss royalties from a release. In general we go through all complaints, however, NCB and our sister societies all operate with a time limit of three years for complaints relating to distribution and adjustment of royalties retroactively. Only if the royalties have already been collected and subsequently identified as undistributed royalties you may expect to be reimbursed 6½ years back in time.
