NCB's anti-piracy activities
NCB allocates resources on behalf of rights owners to put a stop to the activities of companies, websites and individuals who produce, distribute and trade in illegal pirate copies.
NCB has an extensive collaboration in this field with other organisations, both nationally and internationally. Among the most important of these organisations are:
- NCB sister societies abroad
- IFPI (the record companies' international organisation) - in the Nordic/Baltic area and internationally
- Anti-piracy groups in the Nordic/Baltic countries
- The customs authorities and the police in the Baltic and Nordic countries
Apart from its anti-piracy activities, NCB also undertakes continuous audit and monitoring of the music market.
