How to get royalties
NCB distributes royalties twice a year - in June and December. However, royalties for online music are distributed quarterly.
The royalties due to you will be deposited in you bank account, and you will receive an account statement as well as a distribution statement where all royalties are specified.
The following conditions must be met before NCB can pay out any royalties to you as a member:
- you must be a member of NCB and your national performing rights society
Note! Does not apply to direct members. - you must notify all your musical works and lyrics to your national performing rights society (in order for us to know who is entitled to the royalties collected)
Note! Does not apply to direct NCB members. - your music must be released on CD or another medium
- the producer liable for payment of royalties (or foreign NCB society) must have made full payment to NCB
