NCB's commission rates
We deduct a percentage from the amount we receive for the work we undertake on your behalf.
NCB's commission rates vary for the various areas, just as the commission rate is dependent on whether it is we or one of our foreign partners who has received the royalty payment.
You will always be able to see the percentage deducted on the statement of account. The commission rates are fixed by NCB's Board of Directors

| Ordinary payment from sister societies: The sister societies distribute royalties to NCB for the use of Nordic and Baltic works on recordings abroad. Apart from NCB's commission, each sister society - when distributing royalties to NCB - charges a commission rate fixed according to the provisions of the reciprocal agreement. |

| Payment via Central Licensing Agreements (CLA) Sister societies holding a central licensing agreement distribute royalties to NCB for works sold in the Nordic territory. The collecting sister society deducts a certain commission which together with NCB's commission totals 7.32%. |

If membership has been made directly with NCB and not via the Nordic/Baltic performing rigths societies (KODA/Denmark, STEF/Iceland, STIM/Sweden, TONO/Norway, TEOSTO/Finland, LATGA-A/Lithuania, EAÜ/Estonia, AKKA/LAA/Latvia) or one of NCB's sister societies, NCB charges 2% points in addition to the commission rates indicated above.
