The General Assembly is the highest authority in all NCB matters. It consists of KODA, STEF, STIM, TEOSTO and TONO, who each appoint a delegation consisting of one to five persons.
NCB's Board of Directors consists of 13 members of which three are appointed by each of the societies KODA, STIM, TEOSTO and TONO. In addition to this STEF appoints one member. The three members, who KODA, STIM, TEOSTO and TONO each appoint, are an author, a publisher and one person from the society's administration, typically the Managing Director. STEF decides themselves who they wish to appoint to the Board of Directors. NCB's Board consists of:

NCB's auditors are elected at the General Assembly and at least one of the auditors shall be a Danish chartered auditor, and as regards the election of supplementary auditors, the societies KODA, STIM, TEOSTO og TONO are in a position to nominate one auditor each.
